Clever technology combined with shapely product design
The Franke Innovations for the Küchenmeile 2018 at a glance
In this year’s house4kitchen, Franke has first-class new products covering all product lines of Franke Kitchen Systems – from sinks and faucets to stainless steel worktops and a waste system to extractor hoods and a cooktop hood. All new developments score with their successful combination of outstanding design with high functionality, ease of use and modern technology. On the nearly 400 square meter, completely redesigned exhibition area, the shapely premium kitchen fittings and sinks from KWC are also presented.
The sink highlights
As a trade fair highlight, Franke presents the new Franke Box Center – this clever arrangement system combines the sink and kitchen accessories into a visually appealing unit that can be used to further optimize work processes in the kitchen. The special thing about it: The most important kitchen helpers, which are needed for the preparation of food, are directly at the sink at hand. And if they are not needed, they remain hidden away in the Franke Box Center.
Another new product from the Rinsing product line is the Fragranit rinse series Urban. The sinks not only have an absolutely hip design thanks to their user-friendly and modern designed drainer, but can also be quickly and easy to install from above – this is made possible by the Franke developed and already patented “Fast Fix System”.
Last but not least, Franke’s Rinsing Division will be showing two other products that now feature metallic surfaces: the new Fragranit sink Fresno and the existing Fragranit rinse series Kubus 2. Both sinks are available in the four trendy Supermetallic colors Copper Gold, Copper Gray, Lunar Gray and Sterling Silver now an integral part of the Franke range.
The new fittings – from solid stainless steel to matt shades to metallic colors
With completely new and further developed fitting models shows
Franke also in this product category high-quality new entries in the house4kitchen. The fittings score with their clever, clear and simple design. Some models are made of solid stainless steel in the new radial finish, which sets them even more valuable scene.
Made of such solid stainless steel, the kitchen mixer Atlas Neo is made with a high spout. Thanks to a 0 ° – 90 ° rotating control handle, all models can be mounted close to the wall. The new draft and fixed discharge models are equipped with a laminar jet regulator, the shower head version is protected by elastic silicone nubs against lime deposits in the shower head.
The new solid stainless steel fittings Mythos and Kubus will be available in the future with fixed or draw-out spouts. The new Mythos faucet has a high spout and an elegant control handle that is tailored to the product line.
Also made of solid stainless steel is the further developed valve Centinox, available in the versions “Semi Pro” with new shower function and “fixed outlet” with laminar jet regulator in the new Facelift.
If you want to add color accents in trendy metallic or matt colors to the sink, you can fall back on the innovations of the Active Plus series of taps with a high spout. It is available as a fixed spout and as a draw spout in the trendy colors black matt, matt white, smoked shiny, gun metal, polished nickel and bronze.
With technical features, Franke is waiting for its extended Pescara fitting line: The shower head of the new Pescara 360 can be operated separately by 360 ° – thus opening up a broader and unrestricted range of action for the user.
The highlight of the Pescara Slide In, on the other hand, is the shower head, which adjusts itself back to the starting position and can be used to toggle the water jet from normal to shower function using the toggle button.
The possibility of switching the water jet directly at the outlet is provided by the new Pescara Up & Down – but with an up & down technology that is currently unique on the market.
Pure elegance: stainless steel worktops
“Real cooks cook with steel” – under this slogan, Franke takes visitors to the world of exquisite stainless steel worktops – these have long been standard in the professional sector and are currently finding their way into the high-quality private kitchen.
In house4kitchen, Franke presents different worktop thicknesses with a variety of surface finishes: the Pure Steel collection made of solid stainless steel. These bespoke kitchen covers have thicknesses of 4, 6 and 8 mm and are available in the finishes Diamond Finish, Crystal Finish, Pearl Finish and Nature Finish. Their elegant appearance is enhanced by their installation: The solid panels, in which the basins are seamlessly welded, are placed on the base so that they receive a floating character.
Perfectly organized: the new waste sorting system Sorter FX
Another new addition to the Franke range is the Sorter FX waste separation system, which features a modern and clear design and is quick and easy to assemble. It is available for 60 cm wide base cabinets with two different bucket designs: with two buckets of 26 liters and three buckets of 1x 26 liters + 2 x 11 liters. An additional organization drawer above the buckets in cabinet width offers ample storage space for cleaning utensils such as cloths, brushes, gloves, etc. All components of the Sorter FX are designed to be easy to clean.
Extractor hood of the extra class: Hoods and cooktop extractor
Cook top extractors are enjoying increasing popularity – kitchen kitchen specialist Franke is responding to this trend with another trade fair highlight: the extremely compact and energy-efficient cooker hood Mythos 2gether. This offers the latest kitchen technology in the Twin pack, as the cook top extractor has been elegantly integrated into a high-tech induction cook top. Myth 2gether is not only an extremely space-saving kitchen innovation, but also scores points with the excellent energy efficiency class A +++, a high-performance yet comparatively quiet fan performance and automatic pan detection.
Heavy pots can also be slid over the cast iron grille from left to right without having to lift the cookware.
Other shapely ways to remove cooking fumes at the hob extremely efficiently and quietly are the new Maris models from Franke. The headroom hoods Maris 2.0 and Maris 2.0 Plus consist of an elegant, slightly inclined double-glazed panel, which is available in black, white and slate gray combined with black depending on the model.
The third new addition to the Maris product family is the Maris 2.0 Flat in Black: It sits absolutely flat on the wall and is small with its size construction depth designed so compact that it can also be used in smaller kitchenssaves space. All Maris novelties have in common a novel Control technology with animated touch-control function, which is child’s play due to its low position on the front panel.
Also flat on the wall sits the headroom hood Impress. In addition to its technical refinements, it impresses with its unique design – which you can even feel: The easy-care surface of the hood front is equipped with a three-dimensional textured diamond pattern. Franke is launching this hood in Light Gray, Metallic Gray, Softened Brown, Brass Yellow, Black and White – colors that are based on current architectural and furnishing trends.
For those who prefer more home comfort, the more playful Smart Deco is Franke’s new favorite hood. It is aimed at a young, urban audience with a narrow budget. Its distinctive trademark is the slightly tapered “fireplace”, available in seven trendy colors – from subtle white, light gray and smoked blue to more eccentric Dusty Green, Dusty Rose and Mustard Yellow or Black gets every kitchen with a Smart Deco her own personal touch.
