Premiere for product and brand: initiated new trend with “Volume K by Kesseböhmer”

A system shelf celebrated its first international appearance at the imm 2019 in Cologne as part of a much acclaimed trade fair presentation characterized by design icons. “Volume K by Kesseböhmer” stands behind “tRACK” as a new brand and with it the traditional craftsmanship and the competence in metalworking.

Together with the German distribution partner, the Form exclusiv Design Wiemann, lived the appearance of the spirit of the noble and the luxurious. In this composition, the presentation of the brand and product represented a world premiere, which served as the backdrop for a new interior design trend and attracts more design-oriented retailers, architects and planners.

Under the motto “be the voice, not the echo” “tRACK” redefines open living space design. As a modular solitaire or system shelf with changeable grid division, it offers the planning-strong partner interior design as part of sophisticated holistic room concepts and meets the desire for sculptural, individualized living spaces. As an independent design object, this piece of furniture, with its striking T-connectors and the airy, exciting, horizontal architecture, makes a confident statement for balance, durability and a modern lifestyle.

The shelf can serve as an eye-catching room divider, gallery for books, art and objects, as a frame for the TV, ceiling-mounted storage space, in the office and everywhere where storage and sophisticated design go hand in hand.

Modern kitchens give it the certain homely touch just as it brings luxurious purism into the bedroom – always everything is well arranged and tidied up as part of a fascinating entertainment. At the imm “tRACK” played in the ensemble with big names like Buster + Punch, coolGiants, porcelain manufactory Fürstenberg, Steinway & Sons or Verlag Taschen. They illustrate where the new furniture is arranged. The staging attracted among others the industry experts of “Roombeez powered by Otto“, Hamburg. They chose the exhibition stand in the “Pure Atmospheres” section to highlight one of five new home and interior trends. For example, “tRACK” was the representative backdrop for the “Modern Glamor” trend, which gives its character to shiny surfaces and metallic accents.

“VOLUMe K by Kesseböhmer” is the new brand behind “tRACK” and with it the traditional and precisely executed metalworking and metalworking industry, which in the company Kesseböhmer has its own high quality and aesthetic standards due to its experienced engineering skills as well as state-of-the-art electroplating and powder coating systems does justice.

Visible metal in the living area, clear structures and a profound understanding of the connection between architecture and design play the main roles.

Excellent from the start

Consistently designed down to the last detail, the new brand started with “tRACK” as a premiere product. Stylish, powerful and clear, the striking T-connector shows what it is made of. The sandwich floor is so stable and stable that it is even suitable for the office, scratch-resistant and low-noise.

Numerous varieties of metal surfaces bring to light all of Kesseböhmer’s expertise: poles, connectors and steel floors in matt nickel, black or Alpine white micro structure, in copper Sunset or chrome gloss can be combined – in contrast or in the same color. This has already caused a stir at the German Design Council. On the eve of the imm cologne, “tRACK” received the “Selection” award at the “ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior“. In addition, the internationally renowned and design-competent institution awarded an exclusive nomination for the German Innovation Award 2019 in the category “Interior & Living”.
