Shelving units are taking kitchen and home environments by storm. By offering an open storage space that is both straightforward and effortless to access, they contribute to a spacious and airy living space concept.
What’s more, the choice of material also creates a contemporary industrial style.

This trend has inspired Kesseböhmer to develop a ladder shelving unit. It was the focus at SICAM 2019 in Pordenone under the name of „YouK“.
The unit centres around a basic frame system made of high-quality steel.

Thanks to their special expertise in the field of metalwork and metal processing, Kesseböhmer are producing it in five different heights (between 550 and 2,210 mm), three depths (200, 320 and 520 mm) and two colours (alpine white and jet black microstructure).
Customers can organise the ladders using their own shelves which can easily be screwed in place from underneath.

The frame profiles has a tube diameter of 30 mm widthwise and 15 mm depthwise.
They are suitable for endless design, either standing on the floor or suspended on the wall, can be combined with each other and are versatile.

First and foremost they can be used in the kitchen and neighbouring dining or living areas but then also as bookshelves, in a dressing room, the bathroom and anywhere else that storage and modern industrial charm should go hand in hand.
