New brand and new products thrill international visitors

interzum 2017 made history: Never before have so many visitors wanted to obtain information about the innovations in the furniture supplier industry. Never before have so many exhibitors been seen at the exhibition centre in Cologne. The leading global trade fair was also the perfect platform for Vauth-Sagel to introduce their new brand identity in addition to ground-breaking products and digital services. At the Vauth-Sagel stand in hall 7.1 the crowds were correspondingly large. “interzum 2017 was more international than ever before and well frequented on all the days,” summarises Claus Sagel, the Managing Director of Vauth-Sagel.

There were no breaks for the employees on all four trade fair days. Business partners, customers from industry and trade as well as journalists all wanted to know what is new at Vauth-Sagel. “interzum 2017 brought us maximum success,“ said Claus Sagel. “Our completely redesigned brand identity, the corner cupboard solution CORNERSTONE MAXX as well as our new digital services were very well received by our partners and customers.“

With a love for detail, Vauth-Sagel presents itself through an imposing trade fair display in the form of a global village. Here the new corporate design established a visual component, which shows the internationalisation and ongoing transformation into a driving force and system provider for storage solutions of the future. The central open area of the stand was the town square, which also served as a meeting place for people from numerous countries. Four walk-in houses were arranged around the town square.

Two of these gave some insights into the “selection 2017”. They focus on the new storage programme Planero, innovative functional variations as well as additions to the range.

CORNERSTONE MAXX – the corner unit MAXXimally redesigned

The third house was dedicated to the absolute highlight and crowd magnet: the new corner unit solution CORNERSTONE MAXX.  It redefines kitchen corner spaces and is incredibly easy to fit and space-saving. CORNERSTONE MAXX is the MAXXimum because… The often badly or even unused areas of corner cupboards are comfortably covered. Access to surrounding cupboards is not obstructed because CORNERSTONE MAXX only swings in front of its own unit. Here the movement sequence is supported by PAM, the Power-Assistant-Movement-System, in a unique way. Thanks to lifting mechanism and soft push and pull action, opening and closing is almost automatic and soundless even with a load of up to 25 kilograms per shelf. Filigree design: the fastening system is nearly invisible, consists of only three pieces and has only one mounting point – a single stanchion provides MAXXimum stability and makes it easy to adjust the height even when it’s already been built in. And Vauth-Sagel manages all of this with fewer screws and fewer drill holes – that doesn’t only save time, but valuable storage space. “With the CORNERSTONE MAXX we’ve developed the best corner cupboard solution currently available,” said Claus Sagel.

The tour through the product world of Vauth-Sagel ended in the fourth house “Store and Digital Support“, where the new marketing and the new digital concepts were introduced – also two components that make up the DNA of Vauth-Sagel: “Simplification“ has always been the focus of business operations since the Company was founded over 50 years ago. With the new digital concept, Vauth-Sagel offers the correct information for any need. The end customer can get information about solutions, carpenters receive measurements and industrial customers information that they require for their interlinked production. For the trade on the other hand, the marketing concept makes the sales pitch easier.
