The magnetic counter plate MC-YN001U-BL (140-038-025) made of robust steel serves as a counterpart to magnetic latches and push-to-open magnetic closures.

The magnetic counterpart MC-YN001U-BL is suitable for all magnetic closures and push magnetic closures.

The compact format of only 35 mm (1-3/8″) x 15 mm (19/32″) allows it to be mounted inconspicuously on wooden or metal doors.

The 1.2 mm (3/64″) thin design of the MC-YN001U-BL magnetic counterpart eliminates gaps and makes it easier to adjust the front.

Thanks to the galvanized surface, the MC-YN001U-BL magnetic counter plate is corrosion-resistant.

This ensures safe closing and opening without handles.

Assembly:

• Fastening is done with 4 x 16 mm countersunk chipboard screws, self-tapping (not included)
• The MC-YN001U-BL magnetic counter plate is aligned on the inside of the door so that it sits exactly opposite the magnetic lock
• The counter plate has 2 mounting holes with a diameter of ⌀4.6 mm (3/16″)
• The distance between the mounting holes (hole spacing) is 25 mm (63/64″)
• Two 2 mm centering holes are made and the magnet counterpart 140-038-025 is then screwed in place with 2 chipboard screws, with the screw head flush in the countersink
• The function is then to be tested by closing the door and activating the push-to-open mechanism
• If necessary, the screw is loosened slightly and the magnetic counter plate 140-038-025 is moved slightly (for more details, see assembly drawing)
