The B-1059-2 (10658) screw-on hinge connects doors or flaps to a body or frame and allows for easy, permanent rotational movement.

The flat design is particularly suitable for screw-on applications on housings, machine covers and cabinets.

SUS304 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance, making the hinge suitable for humid or more demanding environments.

The polished surface ensures a clean, high-quality look and makes cleaning easier.

6 countersunk holes enable stable fastening, whereby the screw heads can be largely flush with the hinge blades.

When using two hinges vertically, the reference door weight is up to 10 kg (22 lbs) for a door size of 800 mm (31-1/2″) x 400 mm (15-3/4″).

Assembly:

• The fastening is done with 6 x countersunk screws made of stainless steel V2A, approx. ⌀3.5 mm (not included)
• The flat hinge has 6 mounting holes with countersink
• The flat hinge is first aligned with the door or flap and frame in the desired position
• The 6 attachment points are marked according to the hole pattern and, depending on the material used, pre-drilled or threaded
• The hinge is then fastened with suitable countersunk screws
• For a visually clean installation, the screw heads should be as flush as possible in the countersinks
• Before the final tightening, it must be checked whether the door or flap can be moved freely and without bracing
