The screw-in socket 8007705 has a self-tapping external thread ⌀8 mm for wood and an inner metric thread M6 into which metric screws or a threaded rod can be screwed, which enables a perfect, stable wood connection several times.

The advantage of the screw-in nut 8007705 over a direct connection is that when using the screw-in nut, you can disassemble and reassemble the piece of furniture several times without making the connection less stable.

Especially for soft wood, the screw-in nut 8007705 has a great advantage over wood connection with wood screws.
