Assembly:

• First, drill a longitudinal hole with a diameter of ⌀6 mm (15/64″) in the first component (e.g. a side wall) for an M6 screw and a depth of 30–40 mm, depending on the screw length
• In the second component (e.g. a cross brace) a cross hole with a diameter of approx. ⌀10.1 mm (25/64″) and a depth of 15–16 mm is drilled, in the middle of the material thickness
• Then insert the Ø10 × 14 mm cross dowel with M6 internal thread into the cross hole
• Using a flat-head screwdriver, the cross dowel is aligned so that the internal thread is perpendicular to the screw-in direction
• Now insert an M6 screw through the longitudinal hole of the first component and screw it into the cross dowel
• By tightening the screw, both components are connected stably and flush with each other; the cross dowel 6170105 must sit firmly and must not rotate with it
