The TH-61SUS-3 spring hinge supports the automatic opening of flaps and lightweight doors through an integrated spring in the hinge pin.
The spring force acts in the direction of opening and thus supports the swinging up of moving components.
In the free position, the hinge is located at 90°, which makes it particularly suitable for equipment flaps, covers and enclosure doors.
Made entirely of SUS304, the construction offers high corrosion resistance and is also suitable for more demanding operating conditions and for long-lasting technical applications.
Four mounting holes allow for easy and secure screw mounting.
The compact dimensions of 38 mm (1-1/2″) x 51 mm (2-1/64″) allow the spring hinge to be integrated into device, housing and machine designs to save space.

Assembly:
- The fastening is done with 4 x M3 pan head screws or flat round head screws, preferably made of stainless steel (not included)
- The TH-61SUS-3 spring strap has 4 mounting holes
- First, the mounting points must be marked according to the hole pattern of 25 mm (63/64″) x 32 mm (1-17/64″) and the necessary mounting holes must be prepared
- The spring hinge is then attached to the fixed surface with one hinge leaf and to the movable flap or door with the other hinge leaf
- The installation direction must be selected so that the spring force acts in the desired opening direction
- Four M3 pan head screws or screws with ⌀3 mm for wooden surfaces are suitable for fastening
- The screws are tightened evenly without deforming the hinge wings
- Finally, the flap must be moved several times and the desired opening effect of the spring hinge must be checked (for more details, see assembly drawing)
