The flap fitting 1010421 (Microwinch) is a compact flap holder for downward-opening furniture flaps and works with a heavy-duty steel cable.
When opened, the mechanism slows down the downward movement of the flap and thus prevents it from falling uncontrollably.
The end position of the open flap can be adjusted so that the opening path can be adapted to the furniture and use.
The 6 kg (13 lbs) braking force version is intended for flap heights from 210 to 480 mm (8-17/64″ – 18-57/64″); the allowable combination of flap height, flap weight and number of mechanisms is determined according to the selection table.
Since the rope flap holder can 1010421 be mounted either horizontally or vertically as well as on the right or left, it can also be used flexibly in flatter furniture frames.

Assembly:
- Fastening is done using the six screws included in the scope of delivery (Euro screws)
- The rope flap holder 1010421 has 2 mounting holes with ⌀6.5 mm at a distance of 110 mm; the separate flap connection also has two attachment points
- First of all, the number of mechanisms matching the flap height and the flap weight must be determined on the basis of the selection table
- Then the attachment points on the carcase side are marked according to the desired horizontal or vertical installation position and pre-drilled for the mechanism with ⌀5 mm x 12 mm
- In the case of a wood-based or wood-based key, two holes of ⌀5 mm (13/64″) x 13 mm and the middle hole of ⌀10 mm x 11 mm are made for the flap connection
- The flap holder and the flap connection are then mounted with the provided fastening screws
- Then the steel cable is connected to the flap connection and checked for correct running. Finally, the end opening position is adjusted, whereby the flap is to be relieved during adjustment (for further details, see assembly drawing)
